How to use your Home Inspection Report

Your detailed Home Inspection Report can serve many purposes.

It will provide confidence that you know what you are purchasing, and the condition that it is in.

Safety Hazards can be identified, which can allow you to address them prior to occupying the home.

The report can also indicate possible future expenses that could be taken care of now, before coming a major expense.

Lastly, you can also use this report for negotiating power with the seller. Often times if the inspection identifies a need for correction, you can attempt to come to a deal with the seller for compensation or resolution, prior to closing on your home. Your Realtor can reference the report in these negotiations as they come up.

What We will need from You

Prior to the time of the Inspection, you will need to work with your realtor to be sure that the house is fully accessible. Utilities to the home should be up and running. This ensure you get the most accurate report.  We recommend and encourage you to be there for the inspection. We can do this without you, however, walking through the home with your inspector is valuable time, and can help you understand the details and visuals that your report will provide.
